Child Care

Before and After School Care (BASC) is a childcare service provided to the families of St. John.  We would like to assist you with your childcare needs by providing a safe and loving environment for your children.

BASC will be offered before school from 6:30-8:15 for grade school students and until 9:00 am for preschool students. After school childcare is available from 2:35-5:30 pm. The cost of this service is $5.00 per hour per child. Please see program policies for discounts and additional information.

Program Director Cindy Houle has 20+ years of experience caring for people of all ages including service at St. John for the past 13 years. Here at St. John Mrs. Houle has served as a teaching assistant for 3 ½ years before becoming Director of the Before and After School Care program. Mrs. Houle has 4 children; Brianna 19, Taylor 17, Isaac 8, and Connor 7. Mrs. Houle has recently finished her teaching degree and will be student teaching this fall.

Mrs. Beth Tong will be providing childcare in the afternoons. Beth has one son Isaac age 6. Beth has 10+ years of experience working with children both in church work and childcare.

Our afternoon schedule has a variety of activities including playtime and homework time. Please see program policies for a more detailed schedule.
