K-8 School Staff


St. John employs Christian teachers who are licensed by the State of Minnesota Department of Education.  Several teachers have earned or are working toward graduate degrees.   In addition to full-time teachers and administrative personnel, St. John support staff includes band and piano instructors, teacher assistants, school lunch personnel, librarians and an active parents group (CPL).

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to His purpose.  Romans 8:28

God has had a plan for my life and He knows what is best.  He promises that He will be there no matter what happens in my life.  These are two of my favorite passages that remind me that God has a plan even when I don’t know or understand it.

The Psalms speak to me in music. I can just hear people putting the words to melodies as they praise God.  Psalm 96: 1- 2 once inspired me to write my own melody to deliver those words to God. "O sing to the Lord a new song; Sing to the Lord, all the earth! Sing to the Lord; Bless His name; Tell of His salvation day to day!"

Favorite Bible verse & why:  Philippians 4:13, I can do everything through him who gives me strength.  This is one of my favorite Bible verses and has been a source of strength for me many times in my life.  I memorized it as a young child and throughout my life it has given me not only the strength to boldly carry on, but also the assurance that all that I do is by God's grace and strength not mine.
