JOIN US AT OUR COMMUNITY OPEN HOUSE

FOR THE 2012-2013 ACADEMIC YEAR.
Our Philosophy
St John Early Childhood Center believes each child is
a unique gift of God and we believe that young children
learn best by doing. We value purposeful play, allowing
children to learn and excel with the guidance of trained
and caring adults. To support learning, we offer activities
that are developmentally appropriate for children ages
three to five. Our program is aimed at nurturing the
whole child intellectually, physically, socially,
emotionally and spiritually.

Our Classes
Our Early Childhood Center offers a caring atmosphere and fun learning environment with low classroom ratios. We have 2-,3-, & 4-day classes, both morning and afternoon sessions and also a 1 day Parent-Tot class called Praise and Play. We also offer an Extended Day Preschool. It is available to any morning preschool student who wishes to extend his/her preschool experience. We meet in the Sunshine Room from 11:30am to 3:00pm on Monday through Friday.
Best of Elk River Award 2008-2011
community since 1975. St. John Lutheran Church and School is proud
that it has been selected the last three years for the Best of Elk River
Award in the Preschool category by the U.S. Local Business
Association (USLBA). The USLBA recognizes outstanding local
businesses throughout the country. Each year the USLBA
identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional
marketing success in their local community and business category.
These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small
business through service to their customers and community.
Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to
choose the winners in each category. The USLBA Award Program
focused on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based
on the information gathered both internally by the USLBA
and the data provided by third parties.
