Have your family and friends donate old cell phones, receive a tax deduction, and help support our youth ministry efforts!  Here is how it works, youth will collect cell phones that are no longer being used and we mail them in to Recycle It.  Recycle It refurbishes eligible phones for resale in secondary markets and environmentally disposes of unusable phones.  Kaleidoscope will then receive $ for every refurbished phone.  Donors will receive a tax deduction form for the phones and can claim a deduction (max $40 each) for the fair market value of the phone.  Used cell phones can be turned into Kimberly Bohnenstingl or the office.

Kaleidoscope is currently selling gift certificates to Menards.  We purchase the gift certificates at a 4% discount and resell them at cost.  So far we have sold about $22,000 worth of certificates for a profit of $880.  If you know friends or family that are planning small or large projects and will be buying their supplies from Menards, let them know they can help out Kaleidoscope at the same time and it doesn‘t cost them a dime.
